Pyramid Winds is a woodwind quintet comprised of the top graduate students at the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music. Members perform together for the duration of their studies, enabling the ensemble to prepare performance repertoire in great depth, and mature as musicians together. Each semester members enjoy presenting performances to a variety of audiences throughout the region. The current group members include Catie Balsamo, flute, Ty Matthews, oboe, Fernando Martinez, clarinet, Tina Hazell, bassoon, and Eric Sorensen, horn.
