SUMMER CAMP

Camp & Festival

We're back for summer camp 2021! Join us June 21-26 and June 28-July 2 at Shady Grove Presbyterian Church. This year, we are also broadening our scope to meet the needs of other aspiring student musicians through virtual classes July 6-9, offering a deep dive in technology, recording, social activism and video creation.

The PRIZM Music Camp & International Chamber Music Festival is an opportunity for young budding musicians to learn the art of small ensemble playing, while working with world class professional musicians from across the globe. These renowned musicians serve as camp faculty --- and also as mentors.

We are excited to announce that PRIZM Ensemble is back! Our first priority is reviving our annual chamber music summer camp, which we canceled last year, as well as introducing new, more inclusive programs for young musicians that extend beyond classical music performance. This year, we are broadening our scope to meet the needs of other aspiring student musicians through virtual classes, offering a deep dive in technology, recording, social activism and video creation.

This year, PRIZM’s summer music camp has five curriculum options.

PRIZM changes these young people into thriving, blossoming musicians. You provide an environment for the students to learn, explore, express, take risks, and mature musically without fear. This festival is like their safe haven each summer to retreat to with other like-minded, passionate musicians in an environment that is encouraging and supportive, all the while demanding compassion, respect, love and commitment. The quality of instruction and overall experience for the students is second to none.
