The PRIZM Ensemble has been around for several years, known mainly for its International Chamber Music Festival, the eighth version of which was presented this summer. It also performs elsewhere, frequently with students, at various places around the community.
Now it’s expanding its presence with the PRIZM Chamber Orchestra, a group of 30 or so musicians from Memphis and around the country that is intended to reflect the region’s diversity.
The new PRIZM Ensemble was honored to perform at the MLK50: Concert for the Next 50 Years at the historic Clayborn Temple.
