We’re excited for this year’s PRIZM Fest! The two-week celebration filled with fun, instruction and music playing wouldn’t be complete without local flutist Delara Hashemi on our robust roster of mentors. This year is her second as a PRIZM summer camp faculty member.

Delara Hashemi is a freelance flutist and instructor. Delara has been performing with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra for over four years as the second flute. She also plays for chamber ensembles locally and beyond, including the Blueshift Ensemble, Shear Winds, the Gemini Duo and the River City Flute Quartet.

In her free time, Delara teaches private lessons in chamber coaching and flute to young musicians across the city, making her the perfect candidate for PRIZM’s inclusive programming.
