PRIZM Ensemble is excited to announce ‘A Concert For The Next 50 Years,’ presented Thursday, April 5 at historic Clayborn Temple as part of events honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on the 50th anniversary of his assassination in Memphis. The concert is made possible by the support of John Riley, in remembrance of George Riley.
The concert will feature the PRIZM Chamber Orchestra, an ensemble whose membership reflects the demographic diversity of our city, alongside the PRIZM Celebration Chorus, a volunteer community chorus assembled to sing for special projects with PCO whose members are also intentionally diverse and a reflection of our city.
A Concert For The Next 50 Years will affirm the vision of justice, peace and human harmony of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., through selected works. Tickets are $19.68 for general admission, with a limited number of $50 VIP tickets available. The VIP experience will include a reception and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the concert.
